The theme targets awareness creation among children, adolescents, youths, men and women, IDPs, families, people living with disability, and communities, to the end that they become aware Of existing MHPSS services and where to access such services. Additionally, the thematic area also focuses on MHPSS capacity building, advocacy, as well as coordination of MHPSS services within CSOs, NGOs, and Government institutions.

Heal — focuses on MHPSS healing process including but not limited to response and referrals Of stress/trauma, personality disorder, Gender Based Violence, as well as capacity building for response and referrals. The center aims to develop the capacity of her staff, of community structures and stakeholders, of relevant CSOs, NGOs, and governmental institutions to provide MHPSS response and referral services. This is to ensure that children, adolescents, youths, men and women, IDPs, families, and communities, receive specialized and non-specialized MHPSS services.

This thematic area focuses on peacebuilding, social cohesion, and social integration activities and programming. Through this, the Salama Center for Social Services would be able to empower children, adolescents, youths, men and women, especially IDPs, families, people with disability, and communities, with peace building skills, life skills, trust, and social cohesion skills, to be able to reintegrate into their communities.

The thematic area aims to economically empower vulnerable children, adolescents, youths, men and women, especially IDPs, families, people with disability, and communities through occupational activities, to reconnect them with their past capacities, take control of their lives and rebuild.
